Here is an excerpt:
It’s been a month since we were introduced to Coot, the biker who helped abduct Bill for the King of Mississippi, played by Grant Bowler. But that was definitely a memorable first impression — for everyone. “When you get an audition scene where you’ve got a silver chain wrapped around Bill Compton’s neck and you’re feeding off him and howling, you kinda go, I think I’m a werewolf addicted to V,” Bowler says. “That was a love scene. It took all day to shoot, and Stephen Moyer and I laughed so hard in the back of the car – we were almost blowing takes, we were giggling so much — that we actually fell in love. We’re having a bromance.”

SPOILERS
TVGuide.com: What can you tell us about Cooter and his pack?
Grant Bowler: Cooter is a joy to play. I play him like a redneck Romeo. [Laughs] These werewolves have a very strong agenda; they’re not just kicking around looking for someone to beat on.
TVGuide.com: What can we expect between Cooter and Bill now that Bill seems to be cooperating with the King of Mississippi (Denis O’Hare)?
Bowler: It starts off professional with them, but it gets personal very, very quickly. I love the relationship that develops between the two. They just hate each others’ guts and need each other dead. It’s a really strong, fun dynamic to play.

And when you do your transformations, how much is you and how much is done behind the scenes later, digitally?
Basically [creator] Alan Ball’s take on shifting is that the whole bones popping, hair growing out of the face kind of thing works in a movie because you do it twice maybe three times, but in a series you are looking at doing it 25, maybe 30 times. And so the whole way that weres shift in True Blood is based on wanting to get on with the bloody story, so we shift quite simply and quickly.

Do you put down your recent True Blood signing to your role on Lost, Ugly Betty or something else?
To be honest, and this is something my wife Roxane and I were talking about yesterday afternoon over a cup of coffee, my path in the United States wasn’t the dream that you read about in magazines. We went broke more than once and we lost a home. I had come so close to getting stuff (roles) and whenever it came down to that coin toss it went the other way every time.
Grant Bowler to join True Blood

Grant Bowler told The Daily Telegraph that he will be in season 3 of True Blood.
He wouldn’t give details on his character, but had this to say:
“Mate, it’s HBO and it’s the King … it’s the chance to work for an Oscar-winner [series creator Allan Ball] and alongside an Oscar-winner [Anna Paquin].”
Wonder what character he is playing?
Looks like a sexy Alcide to me!!!
