Denis O’Hare May Return?
The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Dennis O’Hare and he had to say this about his True Blood Character:
“I left them on a high. They have been very, very nice to me, and they tell me that they think I’m going to come back,” he said about the possibility of a return of his character Russell Edgington, the flamboyant vampire king, to the show. “And I’m waiting. We’ll see what happens.”

Are there particular episodes that you’re really looking forward to people getting to see, during the remainder of this season?
Denis: From Episode 9 onward, he becomes a different character. He goes into overdrive and actually reverts to a Pagan self. He sheds his veneer of charm and he becomes incredibly dangerous. He loses his control and the mask comes off.

Adam: True Blood has some of the most devoted fans on TV today. Since joining the cast, people must recognize you on the street or in public. What’s the most common thing people tell you?
Denis: I get a variety of things – from someone bowing to me and saying “Your Majesty” to a stewardess who, when I told her that I’d have the chicken, said, “But you’re not supposed to eat”. I”ve lived in my neighborhood in Brooklyn for 12 years and yesterday a woman on the street said to me, “What are you doing here?”. I was like, “I live here”.

Is it good to be the king?
It’s good to be the king. I can do whatever I want to. I have a great house. I get to order people around. I eat who I want to. It’s fantastic.
Can you give me a couple hints about where the king and his vampire-werewolf alliance are headed?
Everybody’s got plans. They think they’re headed in a certain direction and then events take over. Around episodes seven and eight it all starts to go sideways. I’m no exception. All of my plans have to be revised because things start to go really crazy.
Is Russell going to have any more shocking scenes, like the stripper-drinking orgy?
I am in bed with someone in episode ten, and things happen in bed.
