Realizing that Sarah had only hit him with a paintball gun, Jason gets up and asks why she did that. Sarah responds by telling him that he was a traitor and that he took advantage of her. Not really understanding, Sarah tries to explain it better to Jason. Letting him know that they have Sookie in the basement. Wanting to rush to Sookie’s side, Jason pushes Sarah down and races off with her gun and the ATV.
The lock down is in full swing now and all the members are being asked to go to their appointed areas. Eric tries to get Sookie out but is soon confronted with a few members. Rushing into Jessica’s room, Bill is shocked to see Hoyt and her making love. Of course, Jessica is mortified. Bill tells Hoyt that if he truly cares for her, he would take her back to Bon Temps.

He searches the bar and soon makes a grizzly discovery. Daphne’s dead body is in his walk-in and her heart has been cut out. Deciding to call the cops, he sees that they beat him to it and are already at his door. They apparently got an anonymous tip to check out his bar.
At Sookie’s, Maryann is making a “Hunter’s Soufflé”. Frying up vegetables and adding a main ingredient. It seems to be possibly Daphne’s heart. Maryann proceeds to chop it into small pieces and add it to her simmering vegetables.
Eric is tied to a table by large silver chains. Bill rushes into the church to save Sookie. Jason is up in the balcony and fires a shot from his paintball gun that hits Steve in the arm. Firing one more time before he’s captured, he hits Steve between the eyes. This allows the Vampires to attack the humans. Godric steps in to tell them no bloodshed will happen. Sookie races to Eric’s side to remove the chains holding him down.
Godric wants a “truce” and the Vampires soon let the reluctantly humans go. The “Fellowship of the Sun” followers also decide to not to follow Steve and they all desert him. Steve is shocked and than Jason knocks him out with one punch.
Sam tries to convince the police that he was not the one that murdered Daphne. They seem to not want to believe him. Andy stumbles in to try and corroborate Sam’s story. Telling Bud what he saw the night before with the ceremony in the woods. A woman with a bull mask and hooves for hands. Of course, Bud thinks he’s just drunk again and takes Sam in.
Eggs and Tara discuss what they think might be happening when Maryann announces it’s time to eat. Tara starts to slice the soufflé and a red liquid oozes out. Of course, this doesn’t stop her and she begins to eat. Convincing Eggs to eat some, they soon have a wickedly euphoric reaction to the food. After they finish it, Eggs tells Tara he feels like a super hero. They begin to smack each other around very roughly. Enjoying every minute of it until their eyes darken and they begin to have sex right there while Maryann happily watches.
At the Vampire’s lair, everyone is celebrating Godric’s return. Eric confronts Jason and tells him because of the nights events that he is forgiven for using “V” in the past. Sookie tries to ask Bill why he didn’t come for her sooner. Bill tells her that Lorena, his “maker” held him hostage. This makes Sookie a little bit concerned.

Realizing that because she was turned a Vampire when she was a virgin, her body will always automatically heal itself afterwards every time. Meaning that it will always be painful for her to have sex and she will be a virgin for eternity.
