Chasing after the mysterious “pig”, Andy stumbles upon the group in the woods. Seeing that Sam was being held by two towns people with black eyes, Andy reacts by firing his gun. Allowing Sam a chance to escape. Maryann runs after Sam but is not able to catch him because he shifted into an owl and flies away.

Andy is quite shocked to see all the towns people dancing seductively and participating in an orgy. Tara approaches and laughs in his face. Andy sees his cousin Terry and demands to know what’s going on. Terry shocks him by attacking him and breaking his arm.

Back at Bill’s hotel room in Dallas, Lorena still refuses to release him so he can got to Sookie. Flashing back, Bill remembers Los Angeles, 1935 when he had again confronted Lorena about releasing him. Lorena had brought home a “treat” for him…a chorus girl. Bill informs her that he no longer loves her and is finished with treating humans like food and using them for sport.

After finishing making love, Sarah tells Jason that she had taken the “vow of honesty” and feels the need to inform Steve what they did. Making Jason just a bit nervous, Jason manages to convince her that maybe she should wait until after the “lock-in” that night.

Laying in Jessica’s bed fully clothed, Hoyt discovers that he and Jessica are both virgins. He explains to her that he was waiting for the “right” girl and feels he’s found it with her. Hoyt and Jessica decide that their first time should be together. Since dawn is approaching, Jessica jumps into bed and cuddles next to Hoyt. Jessica also informs him not to be afraid if she appears “dead” in her sleep.

Tara wakes up in Eggs arms on the couch. Feeling strange and not knowing how they even got to the couch. They don’t remember anything from the night before. Eggs tries to convince her that maybe it was the pot that made them “black-out”.

Sam enters his bar the next morning. Not wanting to be caught off guard again, he finds his gun that he had hidden in his office. He sets out to find Daphne and find out why Maryann wants him so bad.

Steve and Gabe arrive in the basement to bring Hugo and Sookie breakfast. Promising that they can eat and be set free after they answer some questions. Not wanting to waste time, Hugo blurts out what their real names are and what they are doing there. Hearing that he has Sookie Stackhouse there, Steve is visibly shaken up and storms out. Feeling helpless, Sookie sends a message telepathically to Barry asking him to go to Bill and get help.

Lorena still will not allow Bill to leave. Afraid to fall asleep and wake up to find Bill gone, Lorena keeps a very tired but watchful eye on Bill. With the need to sleep, they begin to weaken. Bill insists she at least let Eric go to help Sookie. Much to his dismay, Lorena informs him that it was Eric that brought her there because he wants Sookie.

Jason tries to leave the church unnoticed with his bags only to be confronted by Steve and Gabe. Steve insists Jason get in the truck to talk. Pulling out a knife, Gabe forces Jason into the truck. Jason feels that Steve must know about him and Sarah and becomes quite nervous.

Maryann arrives later that morning with a dead rabbit and bloodied feet. Tara confronts her about having a party at Sookie’s but Maryann insists that Sookie wouldn’t be upset about it because they helped her out and fixed her water heater.

Gabe and Steve take Jason out to the woods and let him know that they think he’s a traitor and working with the vampire’s. Jason has no idea what their talking about and pleads with them. Of course, Steve is convinced that Jason is and tells Gabe to kill him.

Sam approaches Daphne cautiously with a gun on the deck. He demands to know why Maryann would want to cut out his heart and what exactly Maryann is. Daphne tells Sam that Maryann saved her life and now she is Maryann’s to command. Feeling completely betrayed by Daphne, Sam still presses on to find out why Maryann wanted him.

Daphne tells him that it’s because he got away from her a long time ago. Sam learns that Maryann also can not control shape shifters and super and that is why he couldn’t be put under her spell. Sam also learns from Daphne what exactly Maryann is. With twisted pride, Daphne explains that Maryann is the closest thing to God humans will ever see. She is a “maenad”. Sam becomes concerned and doesn’t know what to do next.

Due to Hugo being claustrophobic, he becomes quite upset and yells for Gabe to release him. This moment allows Sookie to read his mind. She is shocked to find out that Hugo is the traitor. Resenting the fact that Isabel would not “turn” him, Hugo joined the church.

Greeting the guests for the “lock-in”, Sarah is approached by Steve. He says he needs to speak to her about Jason immediately. Feeling nervous, Sarah follows Steve to a private place to talk.

At Merlotte’s, Arlene asks Tara if she could talk to her about something serious. Agreeing to help, the ladies head to the bathroom where they find Lafayette finishing up his call and his make-up.

Arlene is distressed because she feels that she blacked out the night before . She had invited Terry over for drinks to try and loosen him up so that she could finally get him into bed. Having the drinks was the last thing she remembers. Waking up that morning with Terry and seeing his condition, she feels that she might have raped him but can’t remember.

About the same time, Andy storms into Merlotte’s to confront Terry about breaking his arm the night before. Not seeing Terry but seeing all the people there that he saw the night before makes him start to yell. He calls them all devil worshippers and claims that he will be the one to put a stop to it. Of course, the customers at Merlotte’s have no idea what he’s talking about and figure he’s just drunk again. Tara and Sam seem to want to believe him though.

Jessica wakes up to see that Hoyt has put blood scented candles and red roses all over her room. He wants to make their first time special. Letting him know how much she appreciates it, Jessica tells Hoyt to take off his pants and get into bed.

After Gabe made a few rude comments about Sookie, Jason decides to fight him. Knocking Gabe out, Jason makes a run for it. Running along the road, Jason senses headlights behind him. He stops and is relieved to see it’s Sarah. Not smiling for long, Jason sees the gun Sarah has pointed at him. Not taking any time, Sarah fires off a shot and Jason goes down.

Waiting on the pier that night, Daphne is approached by Maryann. With a sweet smile on her face, Maryann thanks Daphne for her service and moves aside for Eggs to plunge a dagger into her chest.

Hugo yells for Gabe but is quickly quiet when Gabe begins to beat him up. Trying to stop him, Sookie jumps on Gabe. Gabe quickly turns his attention to Sookie. Pulling up her dress, Sookie screams and knows what Gabe has planned next.

Meanwhile, Bill is still trying to convince Lorena to let him go. With another flashback, he remembers a similar situation when he demanded to be released from her. Bill told her than that he would never love her and feels that if she can’t release him, he will kill himself with the wood stake in his hands. Knowing that she could never allow that, Lorena releases him.

At this time, Barry knocks on their hotel room door to tell Bill what Sookie has told him. Lorena still will not release him. Eric on the other hand has heard everything and has quickly decided to take action.

Mack in the basement, Gabe is attempting to rape Sookie. Trying to fight him off, Sookie soon has some help. Gabe is pulled off of her by Godric.
