Get True Blood on DVD.
Eric has just finished tearing apart and killing one of his prisoners in the dungeon of his bar “Fangtasia”. Though, he seems more concerned on what Pam is going to think of him getting blood in his hair. Eric than escorts Lafayette up to meet Pam.
Bill and Sookie have finished having “make-up” sex and their conversation soon turns to the subject of Jessica. Sookie convinces to ease up on Jessica because even though she is a Vampire, she is still a teenage girl.
Eric questions Lafayette about the whereabouts of the missing Vampire “Eddie”. Reluctant at first, Lafayette soon finds himself telling them that he thinks Jason Stackhouse had taken him. Pam and Eric realize that they can not do anything to Jason right now because he is Sookie’s brother. Eric also questions him about a missing Vampire named “Godric” from a neighboring city that is also missing. This Vampire is much older and powerful than Eric.
On the way to the leadership camp for the “Light of Day” leadership program, Jason soon makes a new friend named Luke. They soon realize that they have a lot in common. Of course, it does bother Luke that it took him 3 years to get to this camp and it only took Jason 2 days. Making their new friendship start on rocky grounds.
Meanwhile, Tara wants to learn more about Eggs but he is resistant to tell her of his past. Finally opening up to her to tell her that he had dealt and done drugs before. Eggs had also gone to prison for armed robbery and assault. Tara is concerned but not enough to no longer be interested in him.
Tara arrives at Merlotte’s for her shift but she has also brought an unwanted visitor with her…Maryann. Maryann decides to stay and have something to eat much to Sam’s frustration. Approaching her alone, he tells her to leave. Of course she has the upper hand. Telling him that if he wants to get dirty, she can bring up the issue of the $100,000 dollars he stole from her. This makes Sam back off.
Playing “Capture the Flag” at the leadership camp, Jason soon realizes that maybe his new “best friend” may not like him much. Luke is very competitive and not too happy about the way the game is making him look.
Sookie arrives at Merlotte’s to ask Tara if she would like to move in with her. Feeling that if Tara moved in maybe she get over her Gran not being there anymore. On her way out, Tara introduces her to Maryann. Sookie feels uncomfortable because when she tries to read her thoughts, she hears a foreign voice.
Down in the dungeon, Lafayette remembers that the mutilated body of Royce has a metal rod in it. He uses that rod to release him from his chains. Knowing this is his one chance to escape, Lafayette heads upstairs. Unfortunately, a woman named Ginger has strict orders to not let him go. Holding a gun rather awkwardly on him, Lafayette tries to convince her to let him go. Ginger accidently shoots Lafayette in the leg.
At leadership camp, Jason has begun to get into the music and the skits the group is performing. When asked to come on stage and participate, Jason nervously agrees. While performing a skit with the leaders wife Sarah, Jason gets a little to involved and almost pierces his chest with a wooden stake. Visions of what happened to Eddie are still haunting him.
Sookie arrives at Bill’s only to find him gone and Jessica very upset. Crying tears of blood, she had just seen her worried parents on the TV and soon convinces Sookie to take her there.
Maryann gets up and starts to dance seductively with anyone and everyone. Making the whole bar react the same way. Seeing his patrons under a spell of some kind, Sam confronts Maryann privately. Proving to him not to mess with her, Maryann starts to vibrate slowly which makes Sam very nervous, knowing no good can come of this. Maryann makes Sam shape shift into a dog. Letting him know not to threaten her again because she can turn him into a dog at any time and it’s all beyond his control.
Sookie and Jessica arrive and Jessica’s parents house later that evening. Against Sookie’s wishes, Jessica arrives at the front door and greets her mother and sister. Realizing too late, when Jessica’s abusive father returns that Jessica is not there for love but for revenge.
Lafayette is now again at the Vampires mercy and is laying on the couch bleeding profusely. Trying to convince Eric not to kill him, he than approaches them about turning him into a Vampire. Trying to convince him that he would be a great adversary to have on their side. Not taking too much time to think about it, Eric, Pam and Chow pounce of Lafayette to feed.
Wanting to make her father pay for her all the years of his abuse, Jessica fangs come out to exact her revenge. The front door crashes in and Bill is there to put a stop to it. Having Jessica’s younger sister “invite” him in, he demands that Sookie leave and that “he” would clean up “her” mess. Sookie runs out before she can see what happens next.
