Sookie wakes and begins to scream when she sees Bill. Sookie finally stops screaming and looks at Bill with fear and sadness in her eyes. Asking everyone to leave them alone even though Tara strongly protests. Alone, Sookie tells Bill that she doesn’t know if she could forgive him. He tells her that he doesn’t want to be forgiven. Knowing that he can never give her a safe normal life, Bill begins to cry tears of blood and tells her that he will always love her and leaves the room.
At the mansion, Talbot is once again ticked off about the mess that he has had to deal with while Russell was away. Now, seeing Queen Sophie Anne moving in, it doesn’t help his mood at all. During his fit, Eric enters the room to tell Russell that Debbie is waiting for him in the study.

Inside the study, Debbie tells Russell that “they killed my Cooter. Knowing that Debbie wants to rip Sookie apart, he intervenes and tries to convince Russell that maybe he should proceed with caution when it comes to her. Eric tries to plant the idea in Russell’s head not to trust Sookie. Now that Eric knows the truth about Sookie, he wants to protect her. Russell suddenly turns the tables on Eric and wants to know if he could trust him. Eric goes down to his knees and pledges his loyalty to Russell. Russell seems to believe him and seems pleased.
Laying in bed with Terry while he sings to her baby, Arlene smiles in contentment. Suddenly, she sees it’s not Terry but Rene singing to her belly. He tells her that their child will live on and continue to finish what his daddy started. Arlene wakes up screaming. Thankfully it was just a bad dream.
Bill arrives home to a very happy Jessica. Jessica hugs him and tells him that she is so glad that he’s finally home. Bill tells her that she needs to pack. Not understanding him, Bill tells her that she needs to leave. Jessica tells him no and that she needs him to teach her what to do now that she is a Vampire. Seeing her tears, Bill decides to let her stay and teach her.
Finally back home, Sookie gets comforted by Alcide. Sookie tells him that he can stay as long as he wants. Before they can discuss it further, Jason and Andy come barging in. Jason is very distraught and demands that Sookie press assault charges against Bill. She tells him that she will not. Jason tells her that he will get that fanger and Sookie tells him that she doesn’t want to hear him talk like that. Jason storms out of the house with Andy right behind him.
Upstairs, Lafayette looks after Tara. He asks her if she has a death wish. Tara tells him that during her ordeal, she was fighting for her life. Lafayette tries to get her to confide in him about what happened but she tells him that she can’t right now.
Sam gets an unwanted visit from Melinda who shows up at his door as a sad dog. Quickly shifting back to her human form, Sam ushers her in. She packs up her clothes and tries to once again apologize. On her way out, she asks Sam for some money. He grabs a wad of cash from his wallet and gives it to her. Looking at the amount, Melinda tells him that it’s not enough and won’t get them far. He tells her that he doesn’t really care and hopes that it’s just enough for her and Joe Lee to get the hell out of there. After she leaves, Sam sees that Tommy is crying and he tries to comfort him.
While Tara is taking a shower, she is suddenly surprised when sees that Franklin has joined her. The two begin to kiss passionately. Waking up and seeing that it was a dream, Tara is scared because it is apparent that Franklin still has some sort of control on her.
Arriving at home, Lafayette is surprised when he sees his mother there and not at the hospital. She tells him that she is there to protect his power from the Vampires, witches, cats and dogs. Of course, Lafayette thinks that his mother is just talking crazy again.
Finding his Fellowship of the Sun items, Jason locates the bullets loaded with wood he was looking for. Before he has a chance to load his rifle, he hears a knock at his door. Opening the door, he sees Crystal standing there all wet with a black eye. She tells him that she needs his truck. He tells her that she can’t have his truck until she tells him what happened and who hit her in the face and gave her a black eye. Agreeing only if he gives her a towel and a glass of whisky. She tells Jason that Felton punched her when she told him she wouldn’t marry him.
At Merlotte’s Tara is stocking the bar when she comes across a bottle of TruBlood and thinks of Franklin again. Dropping the bottle suddenly, Tara screams when she sees the mess. She rushes off to the back to clean herself up.
Arlene is sitting at a table interviewing a potential new waitress named Holly. Holly tells her that she knows Merlotte’s has some history but tells Arlene that she really needs the job. She has 2 kids at home to raise and Arlene tells her that she also has 2 kids. Holly tells her don’t you mean 3 since she’s pregnant. Arlene is shocked that Holly knew about her being pregnant.
While Tara is in back cleaning up, she is also crying. This is how Sam finds her and he hugs her to try and comfort her. He holds her and asks her what happened.
Lafayette tries to stop his mother from barricading the door so that he can let Jesus in. Ruby Jean heads off to go to the bathroom but instead comes back with a knife. She tells Jesus she’s not crazy and that’s it’s all the drugs they give her. Jesus call his boss and arranges for Ruby Jean to stay the night with Lafayette. Jesus tells Lafayette that his mother is telling the truth about his power. He also tells him that with him being powerful, it is dangerous for him to be dealing drugs. He tells him that all his energy can go dark if he lets it. Lafayette tries to explain to Jesus that he has tried to quit selling drugs but he has no choice. Jesus grabs him and they begin to kiss.
Leaving Queen Sophie Anne’s bedroom, Hadley gets pulled aside by Eric. Eric tells her to give Sookie a message. He tells her to tell Sookie exactly what he says and not a word more. Scared, Hadley agrees.
At Sookie’s, Alcide tells her that he has to head back to Jackson. Apparently, the werewolves have burnt down his sisters salon. He tries to convince her to go with him so he could protect her. She doesn’t want to keep running and she tells Alcide that Bill will come if she’s in trouble.
Hoyt shows up at Merlotte’s and asks Tommy if Jessica is working. Tommy cops an attitude and tells him that Jessica is way out of his league. Trying to start a fight, Hoyt asks him if he wants to step outside. Before Tommy has a chance to say yes, Sam steps in and stops it. Taking Tommy to the back, Sam tells him that maybe he should give trouble a rest and focus on his future. Sam offers to pay for his college and Tommy tells him that he really doesn’t know him and leaves the room.
At Bill’s, he begins to teach Jessica how to fight and move very fast. She catches on quickly. Soon the conversation turns to Sookie. Jessica tells Bill that she knows Sookie still loves him. Bill informs Jessica that it is over between him and Sookie. Seeing his sadness, Jessica confesses that she too loves Hoyt and that they can never be together. Bill realizes that there is 2 broken hearts in the room.
Hearing a noise outside, Sookie grabs her gun. Hadley appears and Sookie puts down her gun and races over to hug her. Hadley tells Sookie that she has a message from Eric. She tells her that Eric said that Russell is coming for her and to not trust Bill. Hadley tearfully tries to convince Sookie to run and tells her that if they catch her, they will do terrible things to her. Hadley leaves crying.
Talbot begins to throw a fit when he finds out that once again Russell needs to leave. Proving how upset he is, Talbot begins to break pieces from Russell’s collection. When he gets to Eric’s fathers crown, Eric steps in and grabs it from him. Eric tells Russell that he will stay behind and keep Talbot company. Russell silently thanks him and Talbot seems happy about the new arrangement.
Jason and Crystal finish making love and he hears a growl from her. Asking her if that was her stomach or if she has gas, Crystal tells him she’s hungry. After settling her in the bathroom, he tells her that he will run out and get some food. On the way out the door, he grabs his rifle.
Sniffing the air, Sam turns around and sees Calvin and Felton standing there. He asks what they want and they explain that they are looking for Crystal. Sam tells them no but they don’t believe him. Calvin spits on the floor and Tommy comes over to see what’s going on. Calling Sam a shifter, Calvin threatens him and tells him that if he finds out Sam’s lying, he will be back. Once they leave, Tommy asks Sam if he smelled that and Sam says yes.
At the mansion, Talbot and Eric are playing chess. Soon, Talbot knocks all the pieces to the floor and tells Eric he’s bored. Clearing the room, he tells Eric to undress. Soon the two begin to kiss.
Jason shows up at Crystal’s house but doesn’t see anyone. Walking into the house, he sees a trail of blood. Following it, he sees a young man eating a dead deer with his bare hands like a wild animal. He races out and comes upon Calvin and Felton. He tells him that Crystal is never coming back there and that if they pursue her, he will have every cop out there. Jason gets in his truck and takes off.
Holding her gun and watching outside, she hears the wolves howling and knows their close. The wolves enter the house and Bill and Jessica take them on. Debbie heads upstairs and kicks down Sookie’s door. Debbie wrestles the gun from Sookie and the two begin to fight.
Bill sees Jessica chase the one wolf outside and yells for her not to leave the house. Racing after her, he sees that Russell has her now. Russell tells Bill that he will trade the red one for the blonde one. Russell sinks his fangs into Jessica making her cry out.
Provoking Russell, Bill tries to get him to let go of Jessica. Finally releasing her, he sends his wolf to chase her down. Jessica falls but gets back up and it quickly gone. Russell, suddenly has Bill on the ground and burns him with his silver spurs. Upstairs, Sookie and Debbie continue to fight. Sookie sees a pair of scissors and cuts Debbie across her face. Debbie rolls away crying in pain.
Back at the mansion, things are heating up between Eric and Talbot. They are both naked on the floor together. Asking Talbot to roll over which he does happily. Eric grabs a stake and says out loud Russell took my family and now I am taking his. Realizes too late, Talbot feels the stake being plunged into his back.
At Sookie’s, Russell immediately gets a bad feeling and says out loud Talbot and then screams no! He flies up and returns home. Debbie too jumps out the window and races off to heal her wounds.
Bill races upstairs to check on Sookie. Sookie sees him and says I love you and he tells her he’s sorry. They begin to kiss and before long they are on the floor making love.
