Sensing that Sookie is in trouble, Bill shows up at Fangtasia. Pam greets him and tries to tell him that Sookie is not there. Of course, Bill does not believe this and the two begin to fight. Pam soon gets the upper hand when she sprays liquid silver in his face.
To Sookie’s surprise, Yvetta comes down to the basement and unlocks the chains. Sookie grabs a set of silver chains as a weapon and heads on upstairs. Using the chains, Sookie soon has them around Pam’s neck. Yvetta gladly takes over as Sookie races over to help Bill. Sookie learns from Pam that Eric planned on using her to kill Russell.
Lafayette and Jesus are still trying to come down off their high from taking V. Jesus tries to convince Lafayette to do more so that they can get some more questions answered and find out more about their relatives. Lafayette gets up and when he turns back around to talk with Jesus, he sees that Jesus’ face turns into a demons face. Scaring Lafayette so much that he uses a random excuse and is able to get Jesus to leave.

Crystal tries to explain to Jason that she is a Werepanther. Feeling uncomfortable about it all, Jason tells Crystal that he needs to head on out and try and find Sookie.
Jessica and Hoyt begin to kiss and to try and repair their relationship. Before they go too far, Jessica reveals to Hoyt that she killed a trucker. She tells him that she was starving and that it was an accident. She didn’t know how to stop and that she actually enjoyed it. Hoyt tells her that he is ok with it and offers up his own neck if she’s hungry. Baring her fangs, Jessica feeds off of him.
Eric meets up with Russell at a museum to confront him about why he killed Talbot. He explains to Russell that it was his family he murdered just so that he could have his father’s crown for his collection.
Before Russell has a chance to attack, Eric tells him that he can offer him the sun. This of course instantly makes Russell stop. Eric explains to Russell that Sookie is a Faerie and her blood will allow him to walk in the daylight. During their conversation, Eric gets a call from Pam explaining that Yvetta stole all their cash and that Sookie has escaped.
On their way home from Fangtasia, Bill and Sookie discuss trying to begin again. They both begin to fantasize about what their lives would be like if they were normal people in a normal relationship. Before they can discuss it much further, Sookie’s car is abruptly stopped by Russell and Eric.
Tara visits Egg’s gravesite and begins to cry. Deciding that she doesn’t want Andy to get away with covering up Egg’s death, she heads over to Merlotte’s to confront him. Sitting down in his booth, Tara stares him down and calls him a dirty cop. Tara begins to tell Andy exactly what she thinks of him but before she can get much further, Andy opens up to her and tells her exactly what happened that night. Seeing the sincere regret on Andy’s face, Tara realizes that maybe it was an accident.
Arlene talks to Holly again about using one of her remedies to miscarry her baby. The two agree to meet up after work to carry out the plan. Moments later, a very drunk Sam enters the bar. He begins yelling at everyone for trying to hide his whiskey. Before long, he has yelled at Terry, Arlene and Holly. Telling him they are not taking this abuse no more, Holly and Arlene leave.
Sam is stuck doing all the serving himself until he sees Tommy and tells him to help out. Tommy tells him it’s not his job and refuses to help. Seeing this as the last straw, Sam tells Tommy to leave and move out of his rental. Seeing this, Tommy quickly tries to make amends and get back into Sam’s good graces but Sam will have none of it.
Soon, Sam has the whole bar clear out. Seeing Tara drinking at the bar, he tells her to leave too but of course, Tara refuses. Seeing that he can’t get Tara to do what he says, he decides to stay and drink with her. Before long, they are discussing relationships and their lack of them. After a few more drinks, they begin to kiss and soon head back to Sam’s place to make love. Unfortunately for Sam, while he’s occupied with Tara, Tommy is breaking into his safe.
Jason ends up at the football stadium where he sees Kitch practicing. After watching him for a few minutes, Jason is ticked off when he realizes that Kitch is on V. Jason approaches Kitch to tell him that he is going to report him to his coach about using V. Kitch just laughs it off and tells him that it’s his coach that gave it to him. He even admitted that his parents pay for it. Feeling disgusted, Jason calls him a cheat and leaves the stadium.
Summer shows up at Maxine Fortenberry’s house to tell her that she failed to win over Hoyt. Apparently, Maxine has been trying to push Summer and Hoyt together. Maxine is bent on getting Jessica out of the picture and assures Summer that she will take care of everything.
In the woods, Holly makes a circle of candles that surrounds her and Arlene. After pouring salt around the circle, Holly begins to chant. Holly begins to prepare her special tea for Arlene and has Arlene speak to the Great Mother while she makes it. Finishing the tea, Holly has Arlene put a few drops of her blood in the tea, telling her she needs a blood sacrifice. Holly does tell her that if the baby is meant to be born, it will be. Arlene drinks it all up.
Back in her bedroom, Arlene dreams of herself as a little girl fishing before she is suddenly awakened by a distraught Terry. There is blood all around her and Terry fears that Arlene has miscarried. Feeling that the tea worked, Arlene quickly tries to comfort Terry and keep him calm. He calls 911 and they are soon at the hospital. Preparing to tell him the bad news about the baby, Arlene get’s a shock when the doctor comes in and tells her that the baby is fine.
Jason arrives home and tells Crystal that he doesn’t care that she’s a Werepanther. He loves her and that is all that matters. Knowing about the DEA raid on Hot Shot, Crystal convinces Jason to help her save the kids.
At Fangtasia, Eric and Bill convince Russell to drink Sookie’s blood so that he can walk in the daylight. Sookie looks at Bill and feels completely betrayed. Russell tells them that he will go outside as long as Eric goes first.
Not wanting to wait, Russell reaches for Sookie and begins to drink. Eric too bends over and begins to drink. Eric opens the door and leaves the dark safety of Fangtasia and steps outside. Eric is surprised to feel the sun on his skin and not be burnt by it. Moments later though, he does start to feel the burn but he doesn’t show it to Russell. Soon, Russell comes outside to join him. Once he sees Eric’s burnt face, he sees it is too late to escape. Eric has put handcuffs on him and he is trapped outside.
