Bill comes to Sookie’s rescue during the Rattray’s assault. Taking care of them and making sure they will never hurt Sookie again.
Bill takes Sookie to a safe quiet place by the water. She is suffering badly and can not feel her legs. Knowing the only way to save her is to have Sookie drink some of his blood, Bill attempts to feed her. Sookie will have none of this though.
Convincing her that it is the best thing to do, she drinks. Drinking his blood, Sookie’s body is completely healed. Realizing also that upon taking his blood, her senses have now all been enhanced.
Meanwhile, down at the station, Jason gets to view his tape with the sheriff. It doesn’t look too good for Jason until he realizes that after seeing the whole tape that Maudette was alive when he left her.
A little bit of information the sheriff decided not to tell him when he was being arrested. Of course that does mean the real killer is still on the loose.
Stepping into her mom’s house, Tara sees that once again her mom is passed out drunk on the couch. Not looking forward to another evening of cleaning up after her mother, Tara calls up Lafayette to come get her. An escape even for a few hours at a boring party is much better than this.
Heading over to Dawn’s house, Jason decides she’s just the right medicine for a man who’s been stuck in a jail for 12 hours. Of course, waking up the next morning to also see Dawn has a fang bite on her like Maudette doesn’t much improve his mood. Wondering what these women see in these Vampires. Who would want to be known as a “Fang Banger”?
Making her gran happy, Sookie gets Bill to agree to speaking to her group the “Descendants of the Glorious Dead”. A group of ancestors of the Civil War victims. Since Bill was alive in that era, he would be the perfect person to have as a guest speaker.
Breakfast was a whole new experience for Sookie. Who knew that a breakfast sausage could taste so good? Since drinking Bill’s blood, Sookie is enjoying her new sharp sense of smell and taste. Tara drops by to join Sookie for breakfast only to have it interrupted by Jason’s appearance. Jason must be blind and dumb not to notice that Tara has been harboring a secret crush on him since they were children. Thank God he’s got his looks to fall back on.
Gran receives a call letting her know the latest. Apparently, there was a tornado that only struck the Rattrays trailer. Hmmmm….maybe a tornado named Bill. Of course, there was no survivors.
Bill comes to Gran’s that evening to discuss the upcoming meeting with the “Descendants of the Glorious Dead”. Of course Tara and Jason felt the need to be present. Keeping an eye on Sookie and making sure Bill doesn’t try to “glamour” anyone and suck them dry. Some people need to loosen up a bit.
Taking a walk afterwards, Sookie and Bill start to discover more about each other’s history. Sookie discussing her childhood and losing her parents. While Bill discusses how he became a Vampire. Making him leave his wife and children forever was not a choice he would have willingly did. Their bond grows stronger with every word spoken.
Later that evening Jason stops over at Dawn’s for an evening of adult fun only to be awakened and find he’s tied to her bed post . Maybe Jason’s been a bad boy in the past and Dawn feels he needs to learn his lesson. Heading off to work, she gives him a quick kiss. Enjoying the view of him struggling to get loose, Dawn proceeds to leave him alone. Some women just don’t like to be toyed with.
Promising to stop by Bill’s to give him some names of Electricians, Sookie was quite surprised to see who opens the door. Apparently not all Vampires are as friendly as Bill. A warm welcome is not exactly what they have in mind for her.
