Longshadow has lunged for Sookie’s throat. Intending to silence her forever.
Thankfully, Bill has stepped in and plunges a stake through Longshadow’s
heart. Creating quite a mess and showering Sookie in blood in the process.
Unfortunately, killing a Vampire is a serious offense in the Vampire
community and Bill will now have to face a tribunal for his punishment.
Convincing Sookie otherwise though, Bill tells her everything will be fine.
Jason is still pretty upset about Amy wanting to kidnap the Vampire. Making
him wonder if she’s done this before. Now he has Eddie locked up in his
cellar. A situation he would never have found himself in before he met Amy.
Trying to make him feel better about it, Amy soon convinces Jason by having
him take some “V” with her.
Meanwhile, Tara makes a visit to the old Voodoo woman Miss Jeanette. Wanting
to understand exactly what was done to her mother. Making her also wonder if
maybe she herself could be helped by an exorcism.
Entering the house with Sookie, they both discover that the killer has left
a little “surprise” for Sookie. Looking up, Sookie sees her cat dead and
swinging from her ceiling fan. Spraying blood all over the kitchen.
Stopping by Tara’s, Sam tries to be nice and bring her some flowers. Of
course, Tara will have none of that. Giving him an earful and expressing
just how she feels about his thoughtfulness. A relationship is the last
thing on her mind. Telling Sam all about the idea that she is considering an
exorcism and wondering where she will get the $800 for one.
Later on at the bar, Arlene convinces Sam that Merlotte’s would be the best
place for her to have an engagement party. Arlene sure knows how to get her
way when she wants to. Trying to help, Sam also sneaks $800 for Tara’s
exorcism into her private cubby at work. Hoping that will help her out of
her bad situation.
Coming home from work, Jason has had enough of the Eddie screaming in the
basement. He decides to pay him a visit. Helping Eddie to be more
comfortable, Jason finds himself in a friendly conversation with him. Making
him see that maybe what they are doing is truly wrong. Eddie also tells
Jason that he needs to be careful around Amy. She is not to be trusted.
Eric and Pam stop over at Bill’s to inform him that he needs to be present
at the Vampire tribunal for the murder of Longshadow. Bill heads over to
Merlotte’s to let Sookie know he will be gone for a few days and not to
worry. Bill grudgingly asks Sam to look after Sookie while he’s gone. Of
course, Sam agrees without any hesitation.
Sookie decides sleeping over at bill’s would be the safest place for her.
Upon arriving at Bill’s, Sookie gets a little surprise by a dog she’s seen a
few times. Bringing the dog in to sleep with her, Sookie proceeds to get
into bed. The dog though now named “Dean” by Sookie jumps on the foot of the
bed to sleep. Making Sookie feel a bit more safer. Of course, waking up the
next morning to find Sam naked at the foot of the bed instead of Dean was
not her idea of a “good morning”.
