Waking up and finding Sam naked is the last thing Sookie wanted to see.
Explaining to Sookie that he’s a Shape Shifter and that he can change into
pretty much anything. Though, birds are a bit difficult and dogs are the
easiest.
Meanwhile, Tara is in the middle of her exorcism. Going through the ritual
becomes quite an experience for Tara. Though afterwards, she does feel
different and begins to think this might actual be working and she feels
like a whole new person.
Amy is busy cruelly taking blood from Eddie. Letting him know that she
pretty much thinks he’s an animal and should be treated as such. Of course,
finding the empty Tru Blood bottles that Jason had been sneaking him,
doesn’t improve her mood much either.
In order to take better control of the situation, Amy decides to convince
Jason later that she has Eddie’s best interest at heart. That maybe they
could all begin to bond and become great friends. Amy, Jason and
Eddie…their pet Vampire.
Enjoying her new found “freedom”, Tara decides to treat her mother to a
“mother-daughter” day. After eating too much food, Lettie Mae begins to
complain of a stomach ache so Tara stops by the nearest pharmacy for some
antacids. Looking around for some help, Tara is shocked to see that the
available clerk is none other that Miss Jeanette. Realizing that the
exorcisms were a scam, Tara storms out of the store in a foul mood.
Getting a visit from a special senator friend, Lafayette is let down when
the senator only wanted some “V”. Informing the senator that he was out,
Lafayette does convince him to stay for another kind of entertainment.
Stopping by Eddie’s for a fresh supply of “V”, Lafayette is upset to see he
is out. Of course, seeing evidence that Jason had been there earlier does
not make him too happy. Knowing Jason is up to no good this time.
At the tribunal, Bill’s punishment is handed down. He must turn a mortal
into a Vampire. Not too happy about the punishment but knowing it is the
only option, he proceeds to bite the young lady.
That evening at the engagement party, Sookie goes into the deserted bar for
more ice. Surprising her, the killer is out to make her the next victim.
Thankfully, Sam manages to save her and the killer flees before being
caught. However, not before Sookie was able to read his thoughts. Managing
to get some clues as to who he or she is.
Tara is not making any of her friends happy with her attitude. With a
miserable mood and a bottle in hand, Tara takes off to drive home. Only to
narrowly avoid hitting a mysterious woman. Looks like Tara will be spending
the night in jail for drunk driving.
After speaking with his friends at the party, Jason decides he needs to take
the upper hand in the relationship with Amy. They argue about the situation
with Eddie and how it is cruel to hold him in the cellar the way he is.
Jason struggles to free Eddie only to have Amy drive a wooden board through
Eddie’s heart. Spraying Jason with Eddie’s insides. Not exactly the
conversation he planned on.
