Screaming for help, Sookie is startled to see Dawn’s lifeless body upon the
bed. Jason walks in carrying flowers in for Dawn, hoping to make up for
their fight the night before. Seems like everyone around him ends up dead.
Having the neighbor the night before doesn’t help his case too much either.
Deciding to take Jason to the station for more questioning, Andy puts him in
the car. Realizing that he still has the V-Juice in his pocket, Jason
needs to think quick. Not knowing what to do, he drinks the whole vile of
Vampire blood. I guess he wasn’t thinking about Lafayette’s earlier warnings
about the harsh side effects from taking too much.
Down at the station, during the interrogation, Jason starts to feel those
effects. Racing to the bathroom, he attempts to relieve himself. His painful
erection will not go away no matter what he does.
Tara saves his day with her fast talking and gets him out with her alibi.
Stating that Jason and her were together all night long. Maybe one day Jason
will finally see past himself and see Tara a little differently.
Gran persuades Sookie to use her “gift” that night at Merlatte’s to try and
find some clues that could help Jason out of this mess. The only thing she
could find out besides everyone thinking he’s guilty is that Maudette and
Dawn frequently went to “Fangtasia”. A Vampire bar in Shreveport.
Jason is having quite a bad time of it. His “problem” does not seem to be
going away and is becoming quite painful. Tara finds him and is clued in to
exactly what his “problem” is. Bound and determined, she convinces him to go
to the hospital. Unfortunately for Jason, the only thing the doctor can do
requires a very long sharp needle. A very long sharp needle that will go
where it should never have to go. I would hope Jason has learned his lesson
now.
Sookie convinces Bill to take her to “Fangtasia”. Of course dressed the way
she is, Bill is none too happy. Telling her she looks like Vampire bait. Not
to be deterred, Sookie enters the club. Seems like your every day Goth bar.
Just a few more “real” Vampires here though.
Asking the bartender some questions, Sookie draws the attention of Eric, the
Vampire law around there. Summoning them to his throne, Eric finds out what
they are there for. Answering a few questions even though Sookie was a bit
nervous to be around him.
Sookie becomes still and gets a vision that a patron is not what he seems.
He’s a cop and he’s planning a raid on the club. She relates this to Eric
who seems more interested in “how” she would know that than the raid. He
feels they are fine until she also tells him that there is a Vampire named
Tara starting to feed on a human in the bathroom. That would be a big
“no-no” to the cops. Fleeing the bar, Sookie and Bill head home.
Tara drives Jason back home from the hospital that evening. That was
certainly an eye opening experience for her. You would think that was
pushing the friendship a little too far. Maybe Jason will see her in a whole
new light. She can only hope.
