Cold Ground – HBO’s True Blood Episode Six:
Get the True Blood Season One DVD
Still in shock, Sookie stares in silence at her grandmother’s lifeless body
on the kitchen floor. Needing Bill now more than ever, Sookie goes into his
embrace so naturally. Leaving Sam feeling awkward and a bit jealous. He
wants to be the arms Sookie turns too.

After gran’s body is taken way, Sookie insists on cleaning up the blood.
Feeling that her gran would never want her kitchen to look like this.

The next day brought everyone to her house with their condolences. A house
full of nosy people is really the last thing Sookie needs. Listening to
their thoughts, was not helping either. After a few hours, Tara proceeds to
tell everyone to get out.

Heading off to work that day, Jason has no idea that his grandmother had
been murdered. Since he was out all night and refused to answer his phone,
there was no way to reach him. Rene had to be the one to tell him the bad
news.

Storming off to gran’s house, Jason slaps Sookie and tells her it is all her
fault. Blaming her because of her association with a Vampire and bringing
this trouble here. Of course, Jason might be overreacting due to his great
need of some “V”.

Still feeling the effects of the “V-Juice”, Jason proceeds to take his
frustrations out on anyone who gets in his way. Including the detective,
Andy.

The day of the funeral brings many friends and a few unexpected visitors.
One being Sookie’s Uncle Bartlett. The man who abused Sookie when she was a
child. Standing up to say a few words about her beloved gran, Sookie has
trouble finding the right words. Having a difficult time trying not to
listen to everyone’s mental accusations. Blaming her for her grandmother’s
death was just too much and she runs off.

Approaching the front, Lettie Mae decides to speak about Adele, making Tara
very nervous. Praying that her mother isn’t drunk again. Lettie Mae thanked
Adele for all her help with Tara. Taking care of Tara when she herself
couldn’t due to drinking.

Speaking afterwards to her mother, Lettie Mae tries to convince Tara that
she has a demon inside of her. A demon that makes her do all these bad
things. A demon that needed to be exorcized. Tara of course will have
nothing to do with an exorcism.
