True Blood Episode 47 Season 4 Synopsis & Soundtrack
Bill, Eric, Pam and Jessica all load up on weapons and head to the front of the Mood Goddess Emporium. Before they reach the front, Jason runs over to stop them. Not wanting to listen, they proceed until he informs them that Sookie was in there also. Frustrated, Eric and Bill know that they cannot do anything and must come up with a different plan.
Inside the store, everyone becomes frantic and demand to be released. Telling them that they are all free to go. Marnie throws a dagger to the floor telling them to use it against the Vampires. Casey races for the dagger but before she can grab it, Marnie uses her new power and sends it straight into Casey’s chest.
Looking at Marnie, they all begin to see her struggling with the spirit of Antonia internally. Soon, a cloud of black matter spills forth from Marnie’s mouth and Antonia appears. The only other person who can see Antonia is Lafayette. Antonia tells Marnie that she is being consumed by evil and she wants no part of it. Needing her power, Marnie chants a spell that binds Antonia to her against her will.

After Jason convinces Bill and Eric not to blow up the Moon Goddess Emporium, he informs that the store has a protection spell surrounding it. He tosses a knife into the shield to prove it to them. Surprising them, the Vampires under Marnie’s spell attack Bill and Eric. Killing one and using the other to call out Marnie, Bill wait for her to appear.
At Marcus’s garage, Sam tries hard to get information from his friend. Other than giving him a bunch of attitude, the man refuses to part with Marcus’s whereabouts. Luna frantically runs into the garage looking for Marcus too. She tells Sam that Marcus has taken Emma.
At Alcide’s house, Marcus tries to convince Debbie to run away with him and raise Emma together. Debbie is tempting and lets him know that she really likes him but her heart belongs to Alcide. Emma walks into the room asking about her mother but Marcus tells her to leave and she can see her mother later. Emma heads out to call her mother in secret. Luna answers her cell phone and discovers that Emma was at Alcide’s.
Jesus kneels down next to the still figure of Casey. Checking for a pulse, he tells Marnie that she is still alive. Not wanting her to die, Marnie allows him to take Lafayette and Casey into another room to try and heal her. Alone in the room, Lafayette looks at Casey and tells Jesus that Casey was dead. Jesus already knew this and lets Lafayette in on his plan to use Casey’s blood to summon up the demon spirit inside of him.
Alone in the woods, Andy starts talking to himself but soon quiets down when he sees a bright light. Not believing his eyes when he sees a beautiful woman standing in front of him. Sensing the Vampire blood in his system, she thinks he’s a Vampire and shoots a beam of light at him.
When he wakes up, he sees the woman is now on top of him. Running her hands over his body, she tells him that he is very handsome which puts a big smile on his face. Telling him her name was Marella, she lets him know that they can make love if he promises to protect her. Lifting her finger up, a bright light appears on the tip. Putting her finger next to his, she makes him swear to this. He does and the two begin to kiss and make love.
With the Vampire under his foot, Bill calls Marnie to come out. Marnie finally appears but she has Sookie with her. She agrees to let Sookie go on one condition, that both Bill and Eric kill themselves. Against the protests of Pam and Sookie, they both agree.
Eric kneels down, preparing to be shot by Bill, Pam acts fast and grabs a weapon and aims and fires at the Moon Goddess. Forgetting about the protective shield, the explosion backfires and shoots out their way, knocking Jason out.
Luna, Sam and Alcide finally arrive at his house to confront Marcus. Luna grabs Emma and waits in the truck while Alcide and Sam head upstairs. Entering the bedroom, Alcide becomes furious when he sees Debbie scantily clad on the bed with Marcus. Sam aims his gun at Marcus and lets him know that he murdered his brother. Wanting to fight fair, Sam puts down the gun and the two begin to go at each other. Debbie tries to stop it but Alcide tosses her aside.
Back in the store room, Alcide and Lafayette prepare the ritual. Jesus warms Lafayette not to believe anything he will say during the ritual. He will need to summon up the demon spirit in order to release Antonia and break the spell.
Pam tries to apologize to Eric but he is furious with her for jeopardizing Sookie’s life. Not wanting to hear anymore from her, he demands that she leave his sight. Pam rushes off upset. Jessica heads to Jason’s side when she sees he is badly hurt. Opening up her wrist, she has him drink her blood to heal.
Sam and Marcus go at each other while Alcide looks on. Sam has the upper hand on Marcus but decides to not kill him. Getting ready to walk away, Sam doesn’t see Marcus pick up the gun and prepare to shoot him. Alcide pushes Sam out of the way and saves him from being shot. Alcide jumps on Marcus and crushes his throat, killing him. Looking at Debbie, Alcide tells her that he will no longer be her lover. Debbie breaks down in tears.
Kneeling down by the pool of Casey’s blood, Marnie waves her hand over it and asks to see the present. She sees Eric and the others outside of the store. Next, she asks to see the future. Looking down, she sees herself with a gunshot wound in her forehead.
Not liking that at all, she tells the others a lie and informs them that she just saw that the Vampires were going to kill all of them. Convincing them of this, she has everyone join hands. Sookie reluctantly joins in. The circle begins to chant.
While they chant, outside Jason watches on confused as he sees the Vampires struggling to stay grounded. It looks like they are being pulled into the shield. Realizing that was exactly what was happening, he grabs on to Jessica and holds on tight.
Cutting his arm and having his hands bound with Marnie’s scarf, Jesus begins the ritual. Lafayette stands back as he watches Jesus become the demon and chant a spell. Sookie begins to hear Jason’s thoughts and she discovers what is going on outside. Suddenly, a beam of light passes from her hands throughout the group, breaking the circle and the spell. Outside, Bill and the others feel the pull on their bodies end and are back to normal again.
Seeing what Sookie has done, Marnie angrily sends everyone crashing against the walls. Chanting a spell, she encircles Sookie with a wall of flames. She begins to cry out but Eric and Bill feel helpless because they can’t pass through the shield.
Soon, Jesus is channeling the demon spirit. Chanting a spell to release Antonia and the spell surrounding the building while Lafayette watches on cautiously. Marnie senses a change and soon the flames vanish and the protection spell is lifted.
Bill and Eric race into the store. Sookie yells for them not to harm the others because they were innocent. Marnie was the one in charge. Bill aims the gun at Marnie when Roy stands in front of her, ready to protect her. Eric races over and pulls out Roy’s heart and drinks the blood from it in front of Marnie. Raising his gun again, Bill fires off a few shots and the final bullet is one to her forehead.
When Andy finally arrives home, he tries to tell Arlene all that had happened to him. Arlene of course doesn’t believe him and reminds him that there is a real person named Holly at Merlotte’s that likes him a lot. Andy gives up trying to convince her.
Lying in bed that night, Lafayette tries to ease Jesus’s guilt over Marnie’s death. Telling him that Marnie had killed innocent people and went crazy. Finally Jesus falls asleep. Adjusting his pillow and facing the ceiling, Lafayette is shocked when he sees Marnie’s spirit lingering there. Before he has a chance to react, Marnie enters his body.
