True Blood Episode 45 Season 4 Synopsis & Soundtrack
Alcide picks up Sookie and races to her home for safety. Before arriving, Bill snatches Sookie from Alcide’s arms and rushes for the house. Once there, Bill tries hard to get her to drink his blood while Alcide watches on helplessly. The two watch over Sookie, hoping the blood will work its magic.
The group at the Moon Goddess Emporium are not too happy when Marnie arrives with Eric. She informs them not to worry because Eric was once again under her spell. Tara and many others voice their concerns and want to leave. Marnie tells them that no one is to leave and sees that only the witless Roy chooses to stand by her side.
After Marcus finally leaves, Luna is able to get Emma to sleep. After all of the drama, Sam convinces Luna that a camping trip would be a great way to escape and not think about the Marcus situation. After a few minutes, Luna happily agrees.

Debbie stays up late, watching TV waiting for Alcide to arrive home. Hearing him come in, she quickly turns off the TV and pretends to be asleep. When Alcide approaches the bed, Debbie’s eyes light up when she smells Sookie’s blood on him.
Bill, Nan and Jessica once again bind themselves in silver just in case Marnie uses her spell again. Chained up in silver, Jessica listens in while Nan and Bill argue about what to do about Eric. Bill tries to tell her they should cancel the Festival of Tolerance set for that evening. Nan refuses because of all the media that has already set up at the hotel for the event.
Hoyt wakes up to find who he thinks is Lafayette holding a baby and a gun. Hoyt races outside before he gets shot. Arlene and Terry tell Andy and Jason exactly what happened. Jason receives a call from Hoyt announcing that Lafayette has the baby at his house. Before they leave, Andy walks into the bedroom to take one more drop of V.
Still unconscious, Sookie begins to dream about confronting both Bill and Eric. Before they can begin to fight for who gets to be with her, she shocks them by saying that they can share her. Resistant to the idea at first, they soon come around and accept sharing her. Sitting between them on the couch, they all begin to kiss.
At Merlotte’s, Tommy tries to write Sam a good bye note when Marcus arrives. Smelling him, Tommy soon realizes that Marcus is a Werewolf. Giving him attitude, Tommy tells Marcus that Sam was not around. Marcus hands him a business card and tells him to tell Sam to show up at that address tonight. Grabbing up the card, Tommy watches as Marcus leaves.
Andy and Jason arrive at Hoyt’s to find Hoyt hiding behind his truck. Arlene and Terry arrive too and watch on helplessly. Under the influence of V, Andy struts up to the front door and kicks it down, shocking Jason. Lafayette fires the gun and soon Andy and Jason are also hiding behind the truck.
Jesus arrives and approaches the house. With his arms up, he is able to walk in unharmed. Lafayette tells him that his name is Mavis and that was her baby. Jesus explains to her that the baby was not hers and that she is in his boyfriend Lafayette’s body. Grabbing the crotch, Mavis cries out, realizing what Jesus was saying is correct.
Jesus tells Mavis that Lafayette is a Medium and that she entered his body because hers is not at peace. Handing over the baby, Mavis accepts Jesus’s help. Having her remember what happened to her, they discover that she and her baby were murdered and were buried outside under a tree.
Upon discovering this, Jason and the others begin to dig under the tree. Soon, Hoyt’s shovel hits something. Looking closely, he sees that it is the skeleton of a baby. He hands the baby to Mavis. Next to where the baby was buried, her body was also laying there. After speaking a few words to, Jesus and the others watch as Mavis’s spirit departs Lafayette’s body.
Hyped up on V, Debbie arrives at Sookie’s house. Sookie cautiously opens the door and allows her in. Debbie expresses her concern and asks Sookie if she could help her out in any way. Before agreeing, Sookie takes her hand and listens in to her thoughts. Reading that Debbie seemed genuine, Sookie tells her that she could definitely use her help.
Alcide stops by Marcus’s garage to let him know that he would like to take him up on his offer to move up in the pack. Happy about his decision, Marcus asks Alcide if he wouldn’t mind stopping by later to help him out with his wife’s boyfriend. Alcide expresses that he wants no part of beating someone up but Marcus tells him he just wants to talk to the man.
Debbie arrives at the Moon Goddess Emporium and convinces Marnie to let her in. She tells her that the Werewolves hate the Vampires just as much as she does. While Debbie talks to Marnie, Sookie takes this opportunity to sneak in a back window. Finding Eric, she tries to tell him to leave. Eric tells her he can’t leave. Soon, she realizes that he is under Marnie’s spell. Eric tells her that he must stay because he has to kill the king.
Tara arrives and points a gun at Sookie. Seeing what is happening in the background, Debbie takes her shot at trying to rid her and Alcide of Sookie for good. She tells Marnie that she brought Sookie to her. Turning around, Marnie sees Sookie and yells for Tara to not shoot her.
Tara, in so many words tells Sookie to read her thoughts. Sookie catches on and reads that Tara is telling her that they are all being held hostage there and to charge her. Sookie does just that and Tara is knocked down, allowing Sookie to escape. Debbie jumps in the truck, preparing to leave without Sookie but is surprised when Sookie also hops in the truck. They both head off to the hotel for the Festival of Tolerance was just beginning.
Tommy, skin walking as Sam arrives at Marcus’s garage. Marcus, Alcide and a few other men are also there. Tommy mouthing out like he usually does, angers Marcus when he talks about what he did to Luna. Soon a fight erupts and Tommy is being attacked by the men. Alcide tries to stop them and finally does but he sees it may be too late. Looking down, Marcus sees that it is Tommy laying there in a pool of blood and not Sam. Alcide takes Tommy away.
After fixing Hoyt’s door, Hoyt hands Jason a box of Jessica’s belongings. The box has “monster” written on it because Hoyt informs Jason that is what Jessica is. Jason tries to get out of being the one to deliver the box but soon finds himself knocking on the mansion doors. Jessica answers and he hands her the box. Feeling the strong attraction, a moment later, they are in the back of Jason’s truck making love.
At the Dorchester Hotel, the Festival of Tolerance is in full swing. Speakers are stepping up to the podium and sharing your stories. Debbie drops off Sookie and drives off. Inside, Marnie has put a spell on the Vampire guards and now they will only do what she says. Marnie and Roy watch from a balcony as Bill takes the podium to speak. Looking over at Eric, Marnie signals for him to attack. Seeing this, Sookie yells “run” as loud as she can to Bill.
