Joe Manganiello chatted with E! Online about being pack master this season on True Blood:
Naomi: True Blood!!! #fangbanger
Sorry, fans of Sookie and Alcide’s will they/won’t they tension, because the pack master is totally playing the field this season. “Alcide is now the pack master, which means he has lots of dating options,” Joe Manganiello tells us on the set of his new campaign for Magnum Gold ice cream. “It’s good to be the pack master! I remember I asked the producer, ‘What do pack masters do all day?’ And they’re like, ‘They get all the were-bitches!’” But being the leader of the pack won’t be all girls and more girls. He’s actually got to take charge of the group. “They’re an unruly bunch; they’re werewolves. So keeping them in line is a difficult job that Alcide never wanted.” And now, for the best scoop of all: How naked will Joe be this season? “I’m True Blood naked!” he assures us. Thank our lucky stars.
Woot we finally got a date!
Season 6 of True Blood premieres June 16, 2013. The sixth season of the show will consist of 10 episodes.
The first promo for season 6 will be debuting on HBO this Sunday, at 9:00 PM ET, before the debut of Game of Thromes.
E! Online has scoop on the Louisiana Vampire Task Force:
Ada in Indianapolis: I need True Blood spoilers, preferably if they are about Alcide getting naked.
We could probably make that assumption with episode six, because the title is “Don’t You Feel Me?” Maybe Alcide wants you to feel his bare chest? That’s also the episode where we really get to know the LAVTF, which stands for Louisiana Vampire Task Force. We’ll be introduced to a new and possibly recurring character who is the chief of the LAVTF, which means he will become a very powerful enemy of our favorite vamps.
TV Line has scoop on new roles being cast for season 6 of True Blood:
Question: I know that Sookie is getting a new love interest on the upcoming season of True Blood, but is there any chance for some Eric-Sookie romance? I mean, last season they only had about 20 minutes on screen together! —Cynthia
Ausiello: Can’t speak to a revived Eric-Sookie romance, but I can share this tidbit about Sookie’s new beau, Ben: The show is currently casting the roles of his mom and dad, both of whom will be seen via flashback.
TV Line has scoop on the new vamp coming to True Blood named Violet and a major love triangle:
Question: I long for hot weather when vampires and werewolves take their clothes off! Any True Blood scoop? —Jenilee
Ausiello: Yep — I can tell you with whom those vampires and werewolves will be stripping down! She’s Violet, a hot-as-hell, tough-as-nails blood-sucker in, give or take, her 600s (though she’ll look about 25). Not only do I hear that she’ll be mixed up in a major love triangle, the role will go from recurring this season to series regular the next. Got casting tips? Hit the comments!
Spoiler TV had the following character scoop on a new vampire named Violet:
A sexy, dangerous vampire named Violet will be part of a love triangle in seasons 6 & 7. (Looks like she’ll be the 3rd side of the love triangle involving Jason and the other new vampire, Wes; unless of course there’s gonna be more than one triangle, or the triangle turns into a square or something.)
Spoiler TV has the following scoop on a new recurring vampire on True Blood named Wes:
Beginning in episode 6.06, there will be a new recurring vampire on True Blood named Wes! He was turned in the 1970s when he was in his mid 20′s. His ethnicity isn’t specified. He’s sexy, smart, compassionate, protective, and plays the guitar. He’s going to be involved in a love triangle with Jason and another vampire (hmmm… sounds like it could be Jessica, but the “other vampire” isn’t named). Wes will be a strong recurring role in season 6 and a regular in season 7 – so we know he “survives” season 6 – and some rear nudity is involved.
Note that HBO has not confirmed a season 7 of True Blood, but this does sounds promising!
We would like to wish all the vampire lovers out there a Happy Valentine’s Day!
