Sheriff Bud Dearborne – William Sanderson
Sheriff Bud Dearborne is the friendly lawman of Bon Temps. He is well liked and respected and tries to be fair with everyone. Recently, life has been difficult for the sheriff with a string of murders and vampire violence.
William Sanderson was born in Memphis, Tennessee in January of 1948. He first began acting in college productions while he attended Memphis State University. He is still remembered today for playing an outstanding Bob Ewell in the film To Kill A Mockingbird. He has also starred in films and television shows such as Lost, Deadwood, and Blade Runner.
