Lettie Mae Thornton – Adina Porter

Lettie Mae Thornton is Tara’s mother. She has spent most of her life as an alcoholic, but now is clean and sober and a devout member of the church, thanks to an “Exorcism” she had to remove the demon living inside her. Lettie Mae’s sister is Lafayette’s mother.

Lettie Mae Thornton is played by Adina Porter. She has appeared on stage and in films and in numerous TV shows including NYPD Blue, Saving Grace and Prison Break.
