Jason Stackhouse – Ryan Kwanten
Jason Stackhouse is the older brother of Sookie Stackhouse. He works on a road crew during the day and is a ladies man at night. Because of his country charms, good looks, and love of women, Jason is the center of much gossip in Bon Temps. Although attractive, he isn’t that bright and is quite impulsive which puts him in many difficult situations. He ends up Falling for Crystal, a werepanther, and at the end of season 3 ends up becoming protector of the entire Hotshots werepanther community. Crystal gets taken, gets addicted to V and comes back to kidnap Jason. She bites him to try to turn him were and he ends up being raped by the women of Hotshots in an order to try to produce werepanther babies. He escapes and gets rid of Crystal from his life. He now works for the Bon Temps Sheriff department and has started a relationship with vampire Jessica.
Ryan Kwanten plays Jason Stackhouse on the True Blood series. He is from Australia and most of his acting career has been on television shows. Ryan became well known playing the sexy life guard, Vinnie Patterson, on the Australian soap opera Home and Away.
