Eric Northman is a very old and powerful vampire who owns the bar Fangtasia, a popular hangout for vampires and fans of vampires. He is also the vampire sheriff of Area 5. Area 5 includes Bon Temps which is where Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton live.

Alexander Skarsgård plays Eric Northman on the True Blood series. He is from Sweden and is both an actor and director. Alexander has been extremely popular in Sweden as an on stage, TV, and big screen actor. Befitting his role as the handsome Eric Northman, he was voted the sexiest man in Sweden five times.
