Bill Compton – Stephen Moyer

Bill Compton was born around 1835 and was turned into a vampire in 1865 after the Civil War. His full name is William Thomas Compton. He has recently returned to Bon Temps and lives an an old family home. Bill is romantically involved with Sookie Stackhouse and has a rival to Sookie’s affections, Sam Merlotte.

Stephen Moyer plays the vampire, Bill Compton, in the True Blood series. He was born in the UK and began his acting career on stage. Stephen has had starring roles on several British TV shows, played Sam on The Starter Wife, and has many guest appearances on other shows.
