Marshall Allman will be playing Tommy Mickens, the long-lost younger brother of Sam Merlotte. He will be a series regular

Shannon Lucio will guest star as Caroline Compton, the wife of Bill Compton during the Civil War.

Production for season 3 begins this week in Los Angeles.
